In an earlier post we implied that the site at Brock was to be closed down. That was until Simon discovered a possible midden in the south-eastern corner. So, on the 30th August in perfect conditions, a team of diggers returned – many who had never been on a dig before.
Simon organised the the diggers into two teams; one to investigate the midden and another to determine the extent of the cobbled area. Eventually there would be 3 teams. In addition Kev instructed different groups on recording site positions.
The diggers were Paula, Terry, Carole, Maureen, Sian, Anne, Lisa, Kev, Simon and Dave.
