The jury upon their oaths present as follows.

We present Mr Thomas Lill for fixing a post in Minsprit Wiend opposite the Sun Inn to the injury of the road there - order that Mr Lill be fined 6s 8d unless the same be removed within fourteen days after notice thereof.

We present Mrs Agnes Abbott the proprietor of the water-works in Preston for not repairing a road beginning at the Lane leading towards Avenham and continuing from thence to the water-works. Ordered that she be fined 40s unless the same road be repaired within six weeks after notice thereof.

We present Mr Alderman George Blelock for not continuing and covering a drain or runnel in the foot road opposite the Free School in Preston. Ordered that Mr Blelock be fined 13s 4p unless the same be made within one month after notice thereof.

We present Mr John Smith for not fixing rails opposite his celler in front of his house in Stoney Gate, Preston for want of which people cannot pass with safety. Ordered that John Smith be fined 13s 4d unless proper rails be fixed to the said celler within one month after notice thereof.

Mr Robertson writing master James Parkinson and John Gornall respectively be fined in like manner for the like ???
