Presentment : —
1. The Inhabitants of this Borough for not sufficiently repairing the Back Street or Tythe Barn Street within the said Borough and if not repaired within two months after Notice we amerce them in the Sum of five pounds.
2. James Parker Taylor for not opening and cleaning a Sough or Watercourse which runs under his Dwelling House in the Tyth Barn Street, and if not sufficiently repaired within Six days after Notice We amerce him in the Sum of forty shillings.
3. The Bailiffs of this Borough for not repairing the Pump opposite to the House of Charles Townshend in the ffriergate and if not repaired within two Months after Notice We amerce them in the Sum of five pounds.
4. Mr William Sargent and Mr John Nightingale for not affixing or laying Rails or Lids upon or before the Steps of their respective Cellars in the Market place, and if Rails or Lids are not set up or affixed within fourteen days after Notice we amerce them severally in the Sum of twenty shillings.
5. Edward Slater Coachmaker for suffering Foot Chaises and other Carriages to stand continually in the Street before his Shop in the ffriergate to the great danger of his Majesty's Subjects, and if not removed within two days after Notice We amerce him in the Sum of forty Shillings.
6. John ffairhurst for keeping a Billiard Table in his House, which tends much to the Encouragement of Gaming and other vices, and if the same is not taken away and such Practices discontinued within one Week after notice we amerce him in the sum of ten pounds.
