Presentments : —
1. John Batty, Mr Luke Astley, Mr Coote and William Young for severally laying their Dung below Fishergate barrs and if they do not remove the same in three Days after Notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d.
2. The following persons to wit; Thomas Aldred, Robert Townend, Robert Dilworth, John Kay, Ellen Johnson, John Cooke, John Dickinson, Mr Andrews, Mr James Crook and Thomas Broughton for sevlly laying Ashes and Rubbish in the ffryergate and if they do not removed the same sevlly in three Days after notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d.
3. James Gregson for laying a large Quantity of Cast Iron near the ffryergate Barrs to the great peril & Danger of all his Majesty's Liege Subjects passing and repassing there And if he do not remove the same imediately after notice We amerce him in 20s.
4. Thomas Grundy, Widow Goodshaw and John Moore for sevlly laying Ashes & Rubbish in the public Streets of this Town and order 'em to sevlly remove the same in three Days after notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d. each.
5. Mr. Henry Cowbum, for want of Cellar Rails at the Printing Office, and if not fixed up in 3 Days after Notice We amerce him in 6s. 8d.
6. The Bailiffs of this Borough for not repairing the Streets of this Town but suffering the same to run very much to Ruin & Decay And if they do not repair the same in a reasonable Time after Notice wch we refer for Mr Mayor to allow them We amerce them in 39s.
