Richd Rawlinson Butcher, John Hodgkinson (of Maria's), John Wyke and Thomas Birchall all of Preston Butchers for severally laying and throwing the garbage and Intrails of their Slaughter'd beasts and Cattle in the Midding Stead at the back of the Butchers Shambles in Preston aforesaid Where the same putrify and becoem very Offensive and a Comon Nusance And do Amerce them Each in twenty shillings.
____ Lytham Widow and George Ward for keeping and ffeding their Swine and placeing their Swine Troughs in a Certain Weend and Comon ffot Way and passage called the Clark Yard in Preston And Adjoining and lying Open to One of the Publick Streets of the Town Whereby the said ffoot Way & passage is very much Annoyed. And also for suffering their Swine to go Out into the publick Streets of the Town to the great Annoyance of the Inhabitants and Comon Nusance and if not removed and reformed in a Week after notice We Amerce them Each in six shillings and Eight pence.
The Street and Highway Called Saint Johns Lane in Preston to be much out of repair and so Order the Baliffs of this Borough to repair and Amend the same and the Cawseys therein sufficiently before the twenty fourth day of June next or We Amerce them in five pounds.
Roger Scarisbrick and William Gradwell for severally laying their Dunghills or Middings in a Certain Street and Highway called the back Weend in Preston Whereby the same and the Highway there is much Obstructed and Annoyed And if not removed in a Week After notice We Amerce them Each in twenty Shillings.
Lawrence Gregson for the like Offence in laying his Swine dung in the Street called _____ And if not removed in a Week after notice We Amerce him in ten shillings.
The Bayliffs of this Town for not providing and keeping due and proper Statutable Standard Weights as the Law directs And if not provided in three Months We Amerce them in twenty shillings.
The Bayliffs of this Town to put the Pump below ffryergate Barrs into good repair and Order for the Use of the Inhabitants of this Town And if not done in fourteen days after notice We Amerce them in twenty Shillings.
