Mr _____ Harrison, Mr Thomas Waller, Michael Gudgean, Richd Pemberton and Robert Hall the younger for severally laying Rubbish in the Street in Churchgate wherewith the said Street is much Annoyed and if not taken away in ten days after notice we Amerce them in 5s. a piece.

Mr Thomas Waller for suffering his Cellar Stair at the house in possion of Madam Townley to lye open to the great danger of persons passing that way and If do well and Sufficiently Cover the same by in ten days after notice we amerce him in 5s.

Joseph Bramwell for setting a Cart in Saint John Weend to the great annoyance of the Street & Highway there and if not taken away in a week after notice we amerce him in 5s.

Mr John Walshman, Henry Colliard, William Baines husbandman, Tho Burton, John Charnock and _____ Harrison widow for severally laying dung and Rubbish in Saint John's Weend to the great annoyance of the Street and highway there and if not taken away in a week after notice we amerce them in 5s. a piece.

Richard Sudell joiner, John Parr, John Brewer, Henry Shakeshaft, Roger Scarisbrick, Richard Waring, William Rawstorne Esq., Edward Whitehouse & William Tipping for severally laying Dung & Rubbish in the Backweend to the great Annoyance of the Street & highway there and if not taken away in ten days after notice we amerce them in 5s a piece.

_____ Nixon Widow, Richard Simpson, Thomas Sudell, David Brown, Ellen Johnson Widow, Mr William Harrison, John Newsham, George Holliday, Thomas Cowpe, Robert Riley, Grace Riddyhough, Robert Duckworth, _____ Serjeant Widow, John Horrobin, Francis Battersby, John Whalley, Charles Holcroft, John Davis and Joseph Bray for severally Laying Dung & Rubbish in the Fryergate to the great annoyance of the Street & highway there and if not taken away in a week after notice we amerce them in 5s. a piece.

David Brown, Thomas Alsop, Thomas Alford, Mr Richd Assheton, William Lorimer and Lawrence Pemberton for severally laying Middings in the highway below Fishergate to the great annoyance of the said Highway and if not taken away in ten days after notice we amerce them in 4s each.

David Brown for not laying two Platts in the foot [way] through his Field leading from the Chapel Yard to the house of Correction and also for not Scouring and Cleaning the Water Course there. And if not done in ten days after notice we amerce him in six pounds.

Richard Werden and Mr Smith bookseller for severally laying Dung and Rubbish in the Street in Cheapside to the great Annoyance of the said Street & if not taken away in a week after Notice we Amerce them in 5s a piece.

Mr Nicholas Walmesley and Henry Carter for want of rails to the Cellar Stairs in the Cheapside in their several possions which Lye open to the great danger of all persons passing that way and if they do not fix rails to the said Cellar Stairs in ten days after notice we Amerce them in ten shillings a piece.

Mr Richard Cowband for want of a rail to his Cellar Stairs in the Market place Which Lye open to the great danger of his Majesties Liege people passing that way and if he do not fix a rail to the said Cellar Stairs or Cover the same in a week after notice we amerce him in 5s.

Mr _____ Bell, Ralph Woods, Mr ______ Melling and Mr Richd Cowband for severally laying Dung & Rubbish in the Market place to the great annoyance of the Street there and if not taken away in a week after notice we amerce them in 5s a piece.

The Bayliffs of the said Burrough of Preston for neglect of their Duty in their Offices in not repairing the Street near the Dog in Churchgate and also in Saint John's Weend and If not repaired in a week after notice we amerce them in 20s.

John Colly for not scouring and opening the Ditch thro' his Garden for want of such scouring and opening the Water falling from the feeble Street which ought to run through the sd Garden is Stopped & obstructed which is a Great annoyance to the highway there & a Common Nusance and if not opened & scoured in a week after notice we amerce him in ten pounds.

Joseph Bray for not Lopping & Cutting the Trees in his Garden hedges near the Pinfold which hang over and Annoy the highway there. And also for not opening and Scouring his Ditch there for want of such Scouring and opening the Pinfold is much damaged by the water being Stopped & Lodging therein. If the said Trees be not Lopped & Cut & the Ditch opened & scoured in a week after notice we amerce him in £4.

Robert Abbatt and the Other Proprietors of the Waterworks for not repairing the watercourse at the bottom of Minspit Weend which is Damaged by their Laying Pipes & also for want of Lids to the Cellar Stairs in the Market house which lye open & if the sd watercourse be not amended & the Cellar Stairs Covered in a week after notice We amerce them in £5.

Mr Stanley Werden for want of Lids to Cover the Cellar Stairs in Fishergate belonging to the house in possion of Mrs Clayton. If the sd Cellar Stairs be not Covered in a week after notice we amerce him in 6s. 8d.

John Winckley Esq., for Incroaching upon the rights and Liberties of the Mayor, Bayliffs and Burgesses of the said Burrough of Preston by erecting a Large Ditch in the Common Fields within the Liberties of the said Burrough and therewith inclosing several Acres of the said Common fields whereby the sd Mayor, Bayliffs and Burgesses may be hindred from enjoying and having Common of pasture there for all manner of Cattle after the Summer Crops are reaped which time out of mind they have used and been accustomed to have & enjoy & of right ought to have & enjoy to the great damage of the said Mayor, Bayliffs and Burgesses. And if the sd Ditch is not taken down and the wast and Damaged occasioned by Erecting the same well and sufficiently repaired in two months after Notice and the said Mayor, Bayliffs and Burgesses be for the time to come permitted to have and Enjoy Common of pasture there as they ought to have & enjoy without the Disturbance of the sd John Winckley or any person or persons by his means, Direction or procurement in their we amerce him in £200.
