My numbering
1. Ye Bayliffes of this Corporacon for neglecting to repair the Pumps in Churchgate and do Amerce them in twenty shillings.
2. Ye Bayliffes of this Corporacon for neglect of their office in not repairing ffryergate Moor Yate and do Ordr the same to be well repaired on or before the twenty fifth of March next or we Amerce 'em in xxs.
3. Ye Bayliffes for not repairing ye Shooting Butts on Spittle Moss amerced in the like Sume.
4. Robt Boys for annoying the highway by laying a Midding in Churchgate lane and do Amerce him in two shillings six pence.
5. Thomas Fox for laying a Dunghill in one of the Streets of this Town called the back Weend to the great Annoyance of the highway there and do amerce him in two shillings six pence.
6. Thomas Greenough for laying and continueing a Midding or Dunghill in the back Weend or backstreet within this Corporacon to the great Annoyance thereof tho' the said Nusance has been several times prsented And do Amerce him in twenty shillings.
7. James Keighley Cooper for laying Wood & tymber in the backstreet to the annoyance thereof & of the highway there & do Amerce him in five shillings.
8. Richard Newsham, Mr Wm Harrison and John Cook for severally laying Rubbish in the Streets of this Town to the great annoyance thereof and for continueing the same there as Comon Nusances & do amerce 'em in two shillings six pence severally.
9. Robt Bonney Taylor for not putting Rails and not covering his Cellar Stairs adjoining the Street Which lye open to the great peril and danger of his Majties Liege people & if not sufficiently secured on or before the first of March next we Amerce him in xxxs.
10. Widw Bostock for the like Offence at the house she lives in & if not done in the time aforesd do Amerce her in xs.
11. _____ Coope Widw for suffering the Cellar Stairs at the house in her possion to lye open and incovered to the danger of his Majties Liege people & if not railed or covered on or before the first of March next do Amerce her in five shillings.
12. Mr Thomas Astley for the like offence & do amerce him in xs.
13. The sd Mr Thomas Astley for annoying the Streets of this Town by setting and placing his Tubs & Casks therein & if not imediately removed do Amerce him in xs.
14. William Walmesley husbm for laying a Large Midding or Dunghill in Fryergate being an Annoyance to the highway & a Comon Nusance & for continueing the same there after it had been several times prsented and do Amerce him in forty shillings.
15. _____________ servant to Nicolas Starkie Esq. the Recordr of this Corporacon for laying or causing a dead horse to be laid in the highway to the great Annoyance of all his Majties Liege people passing and repassing that way & a Comon Nusance and do Amerce him in fifteen shillings.
16. George Taylor for neglecting to appear to serve on this Inquest for our Soveraign Lord the King tho' he had due notice & Sumons for that purpose being a Resiant & Inhabitant of this Burrough & do amerce him in xvs.
17. Peter Taylor and James Bostock who were severally sworn to this prsent Inquest for neglecting to meet their fellow Jurors or to perform their duty & do amerce 'em in iijs. iiijd. Each.
