Presentment: —

1. The Bayliffes of the Corporacon for neglecting to repair the Gibbet and Fryergate Barrs - the Sikes at Spittle Moss and Lady Well all being very Much out of repair And if not well and Sufficiently done on or before ye twentyth day of July next We amerce the sd Bayliffes in the Sume of ten pounds.

2. Rigby Molyneux Esq. for not railing or Covering the Draw Well in the Square Which lyes open to the great peril and danger of his Majties Liege people and if not done on or before the twentyth day of July next We Amerce him in five pounds.

3. Mr William Wall for not removing his Rubbish lying in the Market place but suffering the same to continue there a Common Nusance and also for not railing or Covering his Cellar Stairs in the Market place Which lye open to the great danger of his Majties Liege people passing and repassing thro' the said Street & if not done on or before the twentyth of July next We Amerce him in five pounds.

4. Thomas Parr Butcher for not removing his Rubbish lying in Fryergate over agt his new house being an Annoyance to the sd Street and a Comon Nusance and if not removed on or before the twentyth of July next We amerce him in xxs.

5. The Supervisors of the highways within this Town for not repairing the highway betwixt Churchgate Almshouse and the Barrs Which We find to be much out of repair and do Order the same to be sufficiently repaired before the twentieth of Augt next or we Amerce the sd Supervisors in forty shillings.

6. John Parr and John Derbyshire, the Serjeants of this Town, for neglecting their duty in not giveing due Notice and Warning to several Inhabitants of this Town of the time of holding this Leet, as the duty of their Office required, do Amerce them in xxs. each.

7. The several persons following Who are Inhabitants and Resiants of this Burrough & Owe Suit & Service to this Court but neglected to appear having had notice & sumons to Attend & no leave from Mr recorder to Excuse their absence nor Essoined by by the Court and Amerce them in one shilling seperately for such default.
