1. Ye Bayliffes of ye sd Burrough for not repairing ye pavemts in the Market Street, ye ffryergate Street, ye old Shambles, St John's Weend and ye back Weend Leading from ye head of St John's Weend to George Rishtons house in Churchgate and do Amerce 'em in the Sume of ten pounds.

2. Ye Bailiffes for not setting up a Cuckstool in some convenient part of ye Burrough and do Amerce 'em in ili. vis. viijd.

3. Mr Willm Patteson, Mr Henry Fisher, John Townesend, Mr Jeferey Roby, Francis Carey, Mr Alderman Graddwell, Doctr William Bushell, Mr Wm Southworth, Robert Gurnall & William Ashton for not fixing Rails to the Cellar Stairs in their respective possessions adjoining to ye Streets so that the same are dangerous for his Majties Liege people passing thro' the sd Streets and do Amerce in xs. severally.

4. Mr Joseph Shawe for laying Rubbish and Wood in Churchgate Street near Churchgate Barrs and not removing ye same in a reasonable time and do Amerce him in the Sume of 1li. vjs. viijd.

5. William Greenhalgh Esq., for not removing the Rubbish lying before his new house in Fishergate to the great Obstruccon and Annoyance of the sd Street and do Amerce him in ili. vis. viijd.

6. Richard Dicconson for loading Rubbish and laying the same in the highway at the bottom of Churchgate Street within the sd Burrough to the Annoyance and prjudice of the sd high way and do Amerce him in ye Sume of six shillings Eight pence.

7. The sd Richd Dicconson for laying his Dung and great quantities of Gors[e] and Wood before his door in the old Shambles within ye sd Burrough to the Obstruccon of the publick Street & of great Annoyance to his Neighbours & do Amerce him in the Sume of xxs.

8. William Wall Gent as well for Encroaching on the street & highway by his Cellar Stairs at his new house in St. John's Weend as for neglecting to set up Rails or Covers to the head of the sd Cellar Stairs to the annoyance of the Street and Great Dangr of all his Majties Liege people and do Amerce him in forty shillings.

9. William Parkinson Gen for makeing his privy house to the publick street to ye great Annoyance thereof and a Nusance to all his Majties Liege people and do amerce him in forty shillings.

10. William Place for laying a Dunghill in St Johns Street to the Obstruccon thereof and do Amerce him in vjs. viijd.

11. Charles Holcroft for using and exercising the Trade of a Tallow Chandler in a ground room adjoining to the street, which occasions an Intolerable Smell and Stench, and is a great Nusance to the whole Town, but especially to the several persons Inhabiting or dwelling near him, And we do Amerce him in the Sume of forty shillings.

12. John Rydeing for laying a Great Dunghill in the Middle of the Street in St John's Weend to the great Annoyance thereof and do Amerce him in thirteen shillings four pence.

13. The Butchers, Henry Parr, Samuel Cook, Roger Charnock, Jno Hodgkinson, Thomas Parr, John Birchall junr, Thomas Woods, Edwd Bradley, Thomas Clayton, George Birchall, James Bostock, Jno Bostock, Jno Martin, Andrew Martin, Hugh Blackhurst, Hugh Barker, James Hodgkinson, William Hodgkinson, James Lorrimer, Wm Lorrimer, Thomas Sheppard, Wm Charnock, Wm Charnley, Henry Tomlinson, William Cuerden, Jno Worthington, John Brewer and John Birchall senr for slaughtering in the New Shambles, being in the body of the Town, and throwing their blood, Gutts and Garbage in ye open street, within the sd Burrough, to the great Annoyance of all people, and especially the Inhabitants of ye said Town of Preston and [causing] a Comon Nusance do Amerce 'em each in the Sume of forty shillings.

14. Henry Worden and John Haslingden for Wheeling and carrying away the blood and bellies of Cattle from ye New Shambles and laying ye same in Mr Molyneux's Wood Yard adjoining to the open and Comon Street witihn the Burrough And do amerce 'em severally in forty shillings the same being a publick nusance.

15. Thomas Molyneux Esq. for permitting and suffering a Nauseous Dunghill consisting of the blood, Gutts and Garbage of Cattle to be laid & continued in his Wood Yard in St Johns Weend, within ye sd Burrough, opposite to ye North end of the new Shambles Where the same rotts and putrifies and occasions an unwholesome Smell is a Comon Nusance and intolerable to the several persons who dwell near it and in danger of rendring the Air infectious to his Majties Liege people and do Amerce him in ten pounds.

16.Henry Fisher, Joseph Fidler & Robert Duckworth for laying their wood and tymber in the highway below Fryergate Barrs to ye great Annoyance therof and do Amerce 'em severally in xxs.
