1. John Moor for leting his Miding ly agt Mr John Ashtons Garden Wall in Minspit Weend by wch the highway is much damaged and we do amerce him in vjs. viijd. if the same be not removed in ten days time.

2. Nicholas Harrison & William Poole for Sweeping their dung & carrying their Ashes & other Rubbish into the Street opposite to the Church Yard leading to St. Johns Street wch by leting the same lye in the midle of the sd street the watercourse is stopt & becomes a comon nusance to all Such as have access to pass that way & do amerce them in three shillings four pence.

3. John Parr for leting his ffence ly down agt Mr Mayors Midding Stead in Minspit weend by wch the Swine & other Cattle break through that way into Gardens adjoyning belonging to Sundry psons and we do amerce him in three Shillings & four pence if the same be not repaired with speed.

4. The prsent Bayliffes of this Town for leting the pavemt in Minspitweend to be out of repair whereby the Water from the Malt Cisternes & other stinking places have free passage to run into the Well at the bottam of the sd Weend & thereby become a comon nusance to all such as have occasion to make use of the water of the said well.

5. Richard Graystock and Randle Sherlicarr for washing their Tripes & Beast Bellys at the Draw Well in the ffryer Gate and do amerce them in 3s. 4d. a peice.

6. Hugh Walker for leting his ffences be out of repair at the side of the Whittikers by reason of wch Swine & other Catle Trespass upon the ground belonging to Mr Alderman Atherton & others and We do amerce him in the sume of iijs. iiijd. if the same be not repaired within ten days time.

7. The Occupiers of a Close called the Almeshouse croft being the lands & Inheritance of Richard Addison and adjoyning to ffishergate Almeshouse for not opening an Scouring the Ditch all along the side of the said Close from the top to the bottam, the same being the Ditch runing down the Lane called the Almeshouse Lane for want of wch sd Ditch being sufficiently opened and scoured the publick highway is much damaged as also the Ditch aforesd being grown up with Earth & Rubbish wch occacons the overflowing of the water. And we amerce the said Occupiers in the Sume of xxs if the said Ditch be not sufficiently opened & Scoured & a free passage made for the Water to pass from the Top to the bottam of the Same within ten days.

8. The ffisher Gate Lane, the Road to Spitle Moss, Ribleton Lane and the Lane & Cawsey leading to Swillbrooke being all publick high ways within this Burrough and the libties thereof are very much out of repair and in some places not passable without Danger. We do therefore amerce the Inhabitants of the Said Burrough in the Sume of twenty pounds towards the speedy repair thereof.

9. The psons following. vizt. Mr Alderman Addison, Mr James Clifton and William Chesterfeild for not making Stiles & Bridges over the Ditches in the fields leading from the bottam of Walshman brow to the Marsh Mill for want of wch said Stiles & Bridges the foot path is unpassable when the floud breaks out upon the Marsh And We amerce them, Mr Addison, Mr Clifton & William Chesterfield in a Mark a peice if sufficient Stiles & Bridges be not set & made in ten days time.

10. Hugh Walker for leting the Lane at the head of the Tenter Hey to be out of repair So yt the same is Scarce passable by reason of the watery mud standing in the Said Lane to the comon nusance of all such as have occacon to pass that way. And we amerce him in the Sume of vjs. viijd. if the same be not repaired in ten days time.

11. Thomas Woodburne for not opening & Scouring his ditch that leads to the Crown on the East side of the Moor Lane whereby the highway is very much Damaged & not passable without great difficulty to the great trouble & inconvenience of all such yt have a right to pass that way upon Acct of occupying their Lands and we so amerce him in vjs. viijd. if the same be not done in ten days time.

12. John Cook for leting his Miding ly in the open Street whereby the Water is Stopt & interrupted, the same being a comon nusance to the Inhabitants of this Burrough And we amerce him in the Sume of 6s. 8d. if the Same be not removed within ten days time.

13. The psons following. vizt. William Bellingham Esq., David Browne, Thomas Greenhalgh and Chrofer Pearson for laying Dung and other Rubbish in the Street called St Johns Lane, the Same being a comon nusance to the Inhabitants of this Burrough & all such as have occacon to pass that way And we amerce the Said psons in the sume of 6s. viijd. each if such said middings and Rubbish be not removed & the Streets kept clean within ten days time.

14. The Bayliffes of this Corporation for leting the Water break out of its course at the bottam of Salter Lane near the Moor Yate whereby the High way is much damaged and amerce them in 3s. 4d. if the said Water be not kept within its right currant and the sd hgh way sufficiently repaired in ten days time.

15. John Rawlinson for forceably breaking open the pound belonging to this Town and taking out his Horses out of the said Pound or pinfold without the consent of the Pinder or making any Satisfaction for the Trespass and We amerce him in 3s. 4d for Such his offence.

16. William Hatch for not Scouring & opening his ditch or Water course at the end of his Garden for want of wch Mr John Ratcliffe suffered much damage & if not opened in a weeks time we amerce him in 1s.

17. Richard Cowband for keeping open ffence agt Mr John Ratcliffe in his Croft wch lyeth at the back of Richard Gradwells house in the ffryarGate whereby the Said Mr Radcliffe is trepassed upon by Catle coming into his ground through the Said open ffence And we amerce him in 13s. 4d. if the same be not repaired in ten days time.

18. John Greenhalgh ffarrier for not scouring and opening his ditch in South Meadow Lane betwixt himself & John Cooke whereby the ground belonging to Mr Mayor farmed by the said John Cook is much damaged by overflowing of the Water and We fine him in vjs. viijd. if the same be not effectually opened & scoured in a weeks time.
