1. The psons following for letting their middings lye att Churchgate Town end And doe order them to remove the same before the twenty first of May next, or fine them in six shillings eight pence a peece. vizt.

2. The Baylives of this Burrough for not amending he pavemt in the street behind the Churchgate Barrs, and doe order them to repaire it before the twenty first day of May next, or doe fine them in thirteen shillings and four pence.

3. The psons following for letting their Middings lye in Ribbleton lane to the Annoyance of the Kings publick Highway, And doe order them to remove the same before the twenty first day of May next, on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece. vizt.

4. William Lithon for not repaireing the Rampart or ffootway behind the Almshouse att the Church gate Town end leading to Ribleton Lane, and alsoe for not repaireing the said lane from one end to the other, And doe order that the same bee done before the first day of June next, on paine of thirteen shillings four pence.

5. The psons following that they amend their platts and scour their ditches lyeing to their Closes in Ribleton lane, And if not done before the twenty first day of May next, wee doe ffine them in ten shillings a piece.

John Jackson, Mr Richard Langton, Jonathan Audland, John Crabtree, Mr Henry Turnley - As alsoe for not opening his watercourse in the further hey, And William Cowp of Ribleton for not scoureing his ditch, not lopping his hedge and not mending his Plat in the said lane.

6. The severall psons following for not scouring their ditches, mending their platts and lopping their hedges in Deager gate lane, And if not done before the first of May next doe fine them in six shillings eight pence a piece.

Mr Thomas Clayton, Mr Alderman Lenon, Mr Edward Stanley - also for not opening the watercourse in his field lyeing to the said lane, Wm Cowpe of Ribleton, Thomas Lever - as also for not scouring his ditch in the Rushy hey, Henry Heaton, John Merry, Mr Walmesley from Lower House?, John Greenhalgh Taylor, Mr Richard Langton, Adam Cooper, Edward ffarneworth for not scouring his ditch reaching almost to the two Yates.

7. These psons following for not scoureing their ditches and amending their Platts in Newhall lane And doe ffine them in six shillings eight pence a peece if not done before the twenty first of May next. vizt.

8. The Supervisors of the Highways for not repaireing the Newhall lane leading to ffishwick and the severall Platts therein, And for not repaireing the Lane leading from Churchgate Almshouses towards Rible Bridge, And doe order that they doe Amend the said severall wayes before the twentith of June next upon paine of thirteen shillings and four pence.

9. The psons following for not removeing their Dunghills out of Newhall lane, And wee order that they doe the same before the twenty first day of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a piece. vizt.

10. Mr William Patten and Thomas Lever for not scoureing their ditches adjoining to the Closes lyeing to the lane leading to Rible Bridge, And doe order that the same bee sufficiently scoured before the twenty first day of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a piece.

11. James Garstang for laying a Dunghill in the lane leading to Rible bridge. And Mr William Patten for not makeing a stile in a Close to Swillbrook. And Chrofer Jackson for not repaireing the Cawsey to Swillbrook bridge. And Richard Jackson for not scoureing his ditch in the said lane, And Chrofer Jackson for the like. And Order that they severally doe what to each of them belongs, before the twenty first day of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

12. Mrs Wall of the Moor side, doe make her fence on the back side of Richard Liveseys house before the first day of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence.

13. Thes psons following for letting their Dunghills lye att or neare the ffryergate Barrs And doe Order that they remove the same on or before the twenty first of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a piece. vizt.

14. James Rhoyds for laying a Cop Earth at the end of the house where Alexr. Gibson now Inhabitts.

The severall psons following for not scoureing their ditch, lopping their hedges and repaireing their ditch Copps in the lanes leading to the house of Correction, and Alley lane, And wee Order that they doe the same before the twenty first day of May next On paine of six shillings eight pence a piece.

16. John Miller for not filling up the breaches upon the Marsh occasioned by the Sough betwixt the Marsh Mill and the ditch running to the Rible And also for not mending the bridge lying over the water neare the said Mill And wee order that hee doe the same before the twenty first day of May next, on paine of thirteen shillings four pence.

17. William Walmsley and Richard Crosse for not repaireing the brow towards Tulketh Lane and that they doe the same before the twenty first of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a piece.

18. The Supervisors of the Highwayes for not repaireing the Publick way att the further end of Spitle Mosse leading to the Marsh lane, And wee Order that they doe the same before the Twentith of June next on paine of Thirteen Shillings and four pence.

Also wee present the Baylives that they open the gripps leading to the Sykes att Spitle Mosse before the twentith of June next on paine of Thirteen shillings and four pence.

19. Mr Thomas Martin, John Hatch and Richard Crosse, that they remove their Dunghills lying on Spitle Mosse before the twenty first of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a piece.

20. Evan Huson, John Hatch and Margret Copeland, that they scour their ditches att the side of Spitle Mosse, before the twenty first day of May next, on paine of six shillings eight pence a peice.

21. The Pinders of the Town for not removeing a Dunghill att the Pinfould. And also Henry Barnes for letting his Midding lye in the Highway before his door. And Richard Whitle for a Midding under the hedge, And Richard Bray for one lying in the Highway neare Whitles house, And wee order that they Remove the same before the twenty first of May next On paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

22. Mr James Kitchins two sons for cutting lead from the Syke troughs att Spittle Mosse and ffine them in six shillings eight pence a piece.

23. The Supervisors of the Highways for not repairing the street or Highway behind ffryergate barrs and that they doe the same before the twenty first of May next upon paine of thirteen shillings and four pence.

24. Captaine Bannister for not prepaireing the Cawsey and not Cleanseing the way before his Barne door in the backweend leading from the ffryergate, And Order that hee doe the same before the twenty first of May next On paine of six shillings eight pence.

25. These psons following for laying their Dunghill in the Backweend and St Johns Weend And order that they Remove the same before the twenty first day of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece. vizt.

26. The Baylives for not repaireing the Highway att the end of the Barne Called the Chappell in St. John Weend, And order that they amend the same before the twenty first day of May next On paine of thirteen shillings and four pence.

27. Mr Andrew Dandy for erecting a New Pale on the East side of his garden in Chethams Backside, which in parts thereof incroacheth upon or into the Common Footway leading unto Syke hill, and hindring the Cart way there, And wee doe order that hee doe lay open or remove the same before the twenty first of May next, or else to bee ffined in fforty shillings.

28. Mr Lawrence Bostock and Richard Myers that they remove theire Dunghills from the Churchgate Moor end before the twenty first day of May next On paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

29. John Kay, Richard Sherborne and William Hodgkinson doe repaire the Rampier on Churchgate Moor before the twenty first of May next, on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

30. The Occupyers of the Lands lying and adjoining to both sides of Salter Lane for not scoureing their ditches. Which if not done before the twenty first of May next, wee fine them in six shillings eight pence a peece.

31. Mr Thomas Martin and Hugh Gurnall for not makeing a ffootbridge over the Brook running betwixt Spitle Mosse grounds & Roper heyes, And doe order the same to bee done before the twenty first of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

32. Mr John ffrancks, Willm Charnocke, George Birchall and Henry Graddell for not scoureing their ditches, and not lopping their hedges in the South meadow Lane, And Order them to doe the same before the twenty first of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

33. Mr John Loxam and Wm Bradley for not scoureing their ditches and not repaireing the plat in the South meadow Lane, and order that they doe the same before the twenty first of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

34. The Supervisors of the Highwayes in this Town for not repaireing the Cawsey leading from the ffishergate barrs to the waterside, and for not repaireing the Spring head, And doe order the same to be done before the 20^th of June next on paine of thirteen shillings and four pence.

35. Mr Ralph Rishton and Henry Bostock for not scoureing their ditches and watercourses in the Almshouse lane, And doe order the same to bee done before the twenty first of May next on paine of six shillings eight pence a peece.

36. These psons followeing for letting their dunghills lye att the ffishergate end. vizt.

Mr Addison, Mr Winckley, Mr Chaddock, James Hodgkinson, Mr ffrancks, Mr Geo. Lamplugh, Nathaniel Aitough, John Hardman, Mr Stanley, George Birchall, John Cook, Thomas Bancks, John Greenhalgh the farrier.

37. James Bayley and Richard Myers for not filling up the Brickhill pitts upon the Moor And doe order the same to bee filld up before the twenty first of May next, On paine of thirteen shillings four pence a peece.

38. The Baylives of this Town for not mending the Calls att the Marsh side and doe order the same to bee done before the first day of June next on paine of thirteen shillings four pence a peece.
