1. Nicholas Cundliffe for yt hee hath erected a Swine cote to ye great annoyance of Henry Myers formrly prsented yet not pulled downe wee therefore find him in xiijs. iiijd.

2. Mr Serjt Rigby and Mrs Jane Langton that they scoure their ditches above and beneath ye platt in Ribleton Lane yt ye water may have its passage undr ye platt upon paine of vjs. viijd. apiece.

3. These psons following for not cutting their hedges formrly prsented and not done wee therefore find them in vjs. viijd. apiece.

4. Ellis Makin for that he suffers his midding to Lye in ye high way to ye great annoyance of his Maties Subjects formrly prsented and not done wee therefore fine him xxs.

5. Ellis Makin that hee repaire his platts and scoure ye springs in ye Sykes upon paine of iijs. iiijd.

6. Ellis Makin for that hee has made an Incroachmt at ye end of ye Sykes wch was formrly ye usuall way leading to ye Sykes belonging to Mr Thomas Martin, wee therefore leave it to Maior and Councell as they see cause.

9. Mr Chrofer Greenefield to set a style at ye end of his Croft leading to ye Lane at ye end of Hugh Sharrocks garden formrly prsented and not done wee find him in vjs. viijd.

10. Mr Thomas Hodgkinson and Mr Willm Shawe and ye occupyers of Mr Richard Sumpners Lands that they repaire their platts and scour their ditches in ye Lane Leading to ye Rowmoores formrly prsented and not done wee do find them in xs. apiece.

16. Roger Mosse that hee sett two sufficient styles at ye little croft called by ye name of Titmouse croft leading into ye greene croft formerly prsented and not done therefore wee find him in xs.

17. These psons following that they cutt their hedges lying in ye highway betwixt ye windmill and broadgate formerly prsented and not done we therefore find them in vjs. viijd. a piece.

22. Alderman Kellett has broaken ye Cawsey all along from ye schole house to ye wind mill field, wee therefore find him in vis. viijd.

23. Ye supvisors of ye highways that they repaire the Causey on ye newhall lane Leading to ffishwick formrly prsented and yet not done wee therefore find them in xls.

24. These psons underwritten that they scoure theire ditches and Cutt their hedges betwixt Ribleton lane & newhall lane on or before ye xv^th of October next upon paine of vjs. viijd. apiece.

27. Richard Woods for that hee lays his midding at ye end of John Townends house close to ye wall to ye great annoyance of his house and sellr wee therefore do ordr him to remove ye same before ye xv^th of Octobr upon paine of xls.

28. Willm Chrichley for that hee ffish wth unlawfull netts contrary to ye statute, wee therefore find him in xls.

29. Henry Myers for that hee hath sold breeke into Grimsargh wthout ye consent of ye Maior and Councell, wee therefore find him in iijs. iiijd.

30. Henry Myers for that hee hath sold breeke to Hoghton wthout ye consent of ye Maior and Councell, wee therefore find him in iijs. iiijd.

31. John Burchall for getting whines upon Spittle mosse and upon ye More brow wee therefore fine him in iijs. iiijd.

32. Thomas Hoghton, strongwaterman, not being a ffreeman of this towne, wee do therefore order to remove forthwith, otherwise to pay ye sume of xli.

33. Thomas Hoghton for that hee has erected a Chimney to ye great annoyance of all the neighbourhood thereabouts, wee therefore ordr ye said chimney to bee pulled downe or to pay xls.

34. Thomas Hoghton for that hee turnes his swine to ye more and his horse to ye Comon therefore wee find him in xls.

35. Ralph Eaves for that hee made an assault & drew blood upon ye body of Richard Jackson during ye faire time, wee therefore fine him on xxs.

36. These psons following for not appearing at this Leet Cort to pay ye sumes to those named subjoyned.

40. The supvisors of ye highways that they repaire ye Causey behind ye ffryergate barrs and ye brow at ye ffarther end of Spittle Mosse before ye x^th day of Septembr next upon paine of vl.

41. Ye same supvisors that they repaire from ye ffishergate barrs downe to broadgate on or before ye tenth of Sept next upon paine of vl.

42. Ye same supvisors that they repaire ye Causey from ye churchgate barrs all along to ye Almshouses and from there to Swilbrooke on or before ye x^th of September next upon paine of xli.
