Jury

1. Richard Baliffe, plaisterr [plasterer], being able to worke, and contrary to ye Law turnes beggar and idle pson, and manifested to us, in respect hee waited amongst other beggars as old people and children, at ye Judges retorne from ye last Assizes, craveing for reliefe, therefore to bee punished according to Law.

2. Roger Bannester in that hee made an assalt and affray upon Roger Santer and therefore to pay for that offence iijs. iiijd.

3. These psons following for getting whins upon Preston moore and therefore to pay theire severall for feitures and also to bee punished according to ye Guild ordrs

John Birches, Thomas Cooke, John Salter.

4. These psons following for suffring theire geese to pasture upon ye marsh and Spittle mosse in tenne shillings apiece.

Henry Graystocke, Grace Walmsley, James Holt, Mrs Elizabeth Werden.

5. These psons following doe forthwth upon notice cause theire sevrall water courses at the bottom of theire hedges upon ye west side of the weend or lane Leading to Minspitt well cleansed and the earth to be removed soe that ye water be not stopped upon ye penalty of every one soe offending to pay iis. iiijd. per weeke and ye same to bee Levyed according to Mr Maior his discrecon wch is also desired to take speciall care therein vizt:

6. Mr. Thomas Bannester and Mr. John Chorley, prsent Balives - that they pcure [procure] the Cawsey at ye futher end of ye Stoneygate betwixt ye platt and ye yate going to Avenham milne to be paved at or before ye first day of September next, otherwise to pay xxs.

7. Nicholas Watson at or before ye first of September next cause stiles to bee sett at Titmouse croft or otherwise to make a good causey along ye side of ye said Croft at his ??? charges and to maintain ye same otherwise to pay xxs.

8. Henry Graystocke for drawing blood upon ye body of Richard Taylor and therefore to pay 5s.

9. These psons following that they sett styles in the anncient accustomed places in their severall closes Leading through ye Cliffs into meadow lane, at or before ye 15th day of August next, otherwise to pay vjs. viijd. apiece.

10. That the prsent Balives in that they have not paved and dressed ye causey about minspitt well according to ye 50th prsentmt of ye last [In]Quest and therefore to pay 5l according to ye said prsentmt.

11. Ye said Balives that they at or before ye first day of September next cause to bee dressed and paved about ye said well according to ye said prsentmt of ye Quest otherwise to pay ye further sume of 5l.

12. Henry Graystocke hath taken away the stiles at ye west end of New well brow, and sufferrs his fences to ly open, wch is veryly beleeved, and that upon good grounds, he intends to take advantages agt ye ownrs of such Cattle as shall enter therein, and that in respect hee hath severall times threatned the pindrs to Indict them for their going through ye said Browes, being an anncient way to ye march, and therefore to pay xxs., and also to pay 5s. aweeke so long as ye said styles remains unsett upp, and ye fences belonging to ye same unsufficiently made.

13. These psons following that they at or before ye xij^th of August next remove theire wood, clense theire causeys and gett away theire middings and Dung heapes according to ye Guild order otherwise to incurr the penalty thereof and and to bee punished accordingly.

14. John Gregson Butcher in yt hee ye 20th of June & ye 4th of July last did Contrary to ye last Guild orders buy calves before nine of ye Clock and therefore to pay xxs according to ye said order.

15. These psons following yt they at or before ye 15th of August instant lopp and rutt theire severall hedges adioynning to ye highways and other usuall wayes wch are prjudiciall to ye Towne in Genrall or to theire neighbours if not done accordingly to pay xs. apiece.

16. Henry Heaton that hee at or before the first of September next remove his rubbage out of ye ditch of Richard Thorpe upon ye backe of the Barne of ye said Henry being to ye great prjudice of the said Richard Thorpe otherwise to pay vjs. viijd.

17. Mr Addison & Mr Loxam prsent supvisors doe at or before ye ___ of August instant cause ye fryerlane leading to ye Marsh to bee well gravelled along ye said lane otherwise to pay xxs. apiece.

18. These psons following doe at or before the 12th of August instant sett railes before theire seller staires soe yt ye same bee not prjudicall to any pson upon penalty of xs. apiece.
